Dev Update: September 2026

Hey everyone.
The poll in the last announcement was clear: you want me to keep working on goon-scrolling. So that's now the main direction.
For the past two weeks I've been focused on reworking the parts of the system that already exist on the current site. The core stays, but the interface is getting a heavy rework. It will feel modern and work well on both mobile and desktop. And it's not only about looks: the new structure gives me room to add features the current site simply can't hold, so the functionality will grow along with it.
Here's how I work. I have a list of tasks I want to finish before the next big update. When a task involves the interface, I make several mockup versions for mobile and for desktop. States, transitions, subpages, everything gets multiple versions. Then I pick the one that fits best, build it, test it, and check it on different devices. It's a full process, and I go through it because I want the product to be good.

Here's what the board looks like for the reworked user page and settings, for example.
To do what I have in mind, part of the interface and mechanics have to be shared between both apps. That has a nice side effect: the current app gets a useful update too.
This update is going to be pretty big. Without AI helping me, what I'm doing now would probably have taken me six months.
I'll need roughly another 2 to 4 weeks to polish everything and test it properly. Today's post is just to let you know I'm fine and I'm working.
Be patient with me, okay? I'll make it worth your while. Kisses.
